CMS Resolution 11.29 requested the Scientific Council to develop guidelines on marine boat-based wildlife watching for different taxonomic groups. The resulting draft guidelines, focusing on sirenians, pinnipeds, elasmobranchs, seabirds and marine turtles, are attached as Annex 2. Implementation of the guidelines will contribute towards meeting targets 5, 7 and 10 of the Strategic Plan for Migratory Species 2015- 2023.
